Chapter 18 of Somewhere in Time is all done and currently at my beta. Yay! I'm getting these chapters out slowly, but surely. I've already started Chapter 19, so the wait for the next one shouldn't
be another five months. I do apologize for the long waits in between, but hopefully there are still readers out there who care about the story and are willing to stick by me while I finish it. So,
yeah, new chapter very soon. In the meantime, feel free to catch up on what you've missed/forgotten:Prologue/Chapter 1Chapter 2Chapter 3Chapter 4Chapter 5Chapter 6Chapter 7Chapter 8Chapter 9Chapter
10Chapter 11Chapter 12Chapter 13Chapter 14Chapter 15Chapter 16Chapter 17I really appreciate your patience. You guys rock. :)

I'm obsessed with ice. I crave it constantly. I fill up our ice trays usually five times a day (half way full so they're small enough to chew). My mom said I probably have some medical condition
since craving ice isn't exactly normal, and apparently I do. According to the many Google results I found, craving ice is a symptom of anemia or iron deficiency.Huh.Oh well. I'll get a blood test
one of these days. *chomps on ice* <-- it's probably quite bad for my teeth too.Oh, and I'm finishing up the new chapter of Somewhere in Time. I promise! I'm working on it right now. It should
be up by the weekend.

OMG!!! STEVE PROPOSED TODAY!!!*faints*Today is our one year anniversary. It was so romantic. I'm going to cry again just thinking about it.Last night Steve (who is in a new, pretty
successful-so-far band) had a concert. We went there first and he, of course, blew everyone away with his mad drumming skills. Then we drove down to this hotel just outside of Chicago where we had
booked a suite. It had a jacuzzi hot tub, a fireplace, the whole deal. It was gorgeous. We ate, talked, did other stuff, went in the jacuzzi, etc. Basically had an amazing time. The next morning
(today), Steve said he wanted to take me somewhere special. So we went out for a nice breakfast and then drove into my old neighborhood. I was kind of confused at first, but then I realized. Anyone
remember this post?? A little over a year ago, when I was still kinda dating his brother, all three of us went to the park by my house. I was slightly inebriated and ended up telling Steve a
personal secret of mind. We'd had a two hour conversation on the swings, and from that moment on, we were completely bonded. We became best friends... and that moment is what brought us to where we
are now. Steve decided to take me there today. We swung on the swings for a bit, mostly remeniscing, when suddenly he told me there was something he'd been wanting to do for a long time. He kneeled
down in front of me, in eight inches of snow, and proposed. I immediately burst into tears and hugged him. And obviously said yes. It was the most beautiful moment of my life and I can barely
believe it's even happening to me. Over a year ago I had no idea what to do with my life. I was living at home, broke, wishing I had a love life, and spending most of my time on the internet. Now
I'm engaged to the man of my dreams. Life is a funny thing.Anyway, I just wanted to share the news with you all. I can't wait to start planning the wedding! :)

I can't wait for Christmas! I've been in the spirit since the day after Halloween, haha. I even got all my shopping done by Thanksgiving (am I the only one who LOVES x-mas shopping??) Steve and I
spent way too much money on each other. We're going to be in major debt, lol. But it's worth it! :)I'd like to send out Christmas cards this year. So if you'd like one, please respond to this post
with your address. All comments will be screened, of course.PS: Really sorry to hear about all the Booster attendees who are out of a con this weekend. That is so shitty. I hope all of you guys get
your money back. *hugs*

Saturday, Steve and I took Vladimir over to his mom's for a Puppy Play Date. He had fun and romped around with Lacey, Charlie, and the newest addition, Buffy. Buffy (previously named Renee at
Save-A-Pet) was the other dog we were considering. We were very close to getting her but decided on Vladimir at the last minute. I had felt really bad about not picking her. So Steve's mom went
over there a few days later and surprised us by adopting her! It was really great. She's such a sweetie and the two of them get along really well. Then after that we went Christmas shopping (I
swear Christmas shopping is one of my all time favorite activities, haha) and we also got the Vlady pictures developed. I'll be scanning them some time this week!Sunday was way fun. I met
brokenlizard14 at Woodfield mall and did MORE Christmas shopping. I was not complaining. I got a whole lot of my shopping done. We chilled there for about four hours and then headed over to
Uncommon Ground in Chicago to see Common Rotation play. They were fab, as always. I was lame and forgot my camera so Erin took some for me. Adam looked really good. Eric had a beard which I didn't
like. And Jordan had a really scary beard which I really didn't like, lol. I picked up their new CD which I'm excited to start listening to. Oh, and they played "Offstage Lines" which is my
all-time favorite song of theirs. So amazing! I was really happy they played it.Today I'm kinda sick so I think I'm going to call into work tomorrow. I rarely call in and I do have some personal
time. Not to mention, after this week we're going to be insanely busy and I won't be able to take off. I need a day off, damnit. This job kills me sometimes. And it almost made me hate Halloween.
You have no idea how psychotic and mean these people get if their damn kid's costumes aren't perfect. This one woman said to me, "I hope you can sleep at night working for such a shit company, you
dumb bitch!" and slammed the phone down. *sigh* I need a new job.Snagged from regan117:What American accent do you have? Your Result: The Inland North
